A little obsession….

So I guess I already told you I am an open book. So I am going to let you in on a secret. I have an obsession.

That being…….reading books. But not any books, mainly fiction….romance much preferred. Comedy is a plus. When I get a book, I can’t put it down until its finished. I don’t know if its bad or good. As a literature student I am required to read books…but the thing is, classics really don’t interest me.

I read online….buy books,even make a collection. Now, it goes without saying…my favourite book of all time…..a book that anyone can approve of…..Harry potter series…its my very first book…I started reading it when I was 9 years old. When I was 11, I was eagerly waiting for the 6th book. Those where the days….

I am also a writer. But let me make another confession. I wanted to finish a novel. I had many ideas. I even started writing but always….always….something comes up….I lose track of the plot….I mix it up with something I have read….or I just slack off. I have so many plots written out but not completed (I even got yelled at for wasting paper!!!…as if!!…Later when I become a writer they would see…) Of course… Whenever I tell someone I want to be a writer, they just laugh it off..they say “it all comes down to talent” ….we will see who’s laughing in the end. Well, they are not wrong. It does come down to talent…a talent for writing….

Well only time can tell if my little obsession can lead me somewhere…if at all….anywhere….
